    Allegiance : Federation {pending}

  Betelgeuse Preliminary Survey Data

    System consists of 2 Solar entities with orbiting planets
  and moons.
      Betelgeuse : 800MK Q.Z. Class D White Dwarf, a quarantine zone of 800MK
  has been established for vessel safety {within this zone are extremely
  hazardous gravitational fields capable of drawing vessels to the core
  before warp can be achieved. Vessels are restricted from entering the
  area within 2700MK of the White Dwarf core. All exceptions are subject
  to Captain's discretion.
      Betelgeuse I : 1200MK Class S Red Giant, has been drawn into a close
  elliptical orbit of the Betelgeuse White Dwarf. This sun has 1 planetary
  satellite catalogued as Betelgeuse IV, which follows the same Polar Orbital
  Path as Betelgeuse I. This sun, previously scanned with long range sensors was
  believed to be the Core of the Betelgeuse System until the discovery of
  the White Dwarf, Sun orbits on the fringe of the Gravitational vortex of the
  Betelgeuse White Dwarf.
      Betelgeuse II : 75000K Class K Planet, Scarred and pitted, this planet
  appears to have taken the brunt of the Central core sun's ejected plasma during
  it's collapse into a White Dwarf. Detailed survey has not been performed.
      Betelgeuse III : 15000K Class K Planet, Cratered and showing evidence of
  catastrophic heating, this planet appears to have once possessed an atmosphere
  consistant with a Class M World. Detailed survey slated for future scientific
  expedition.
      Betelgeuse IV : 30000K Class M Planet, although unsuitable for Human
  Colonization due to high levels of surface radiation. Planet appears to have
  once been the natural Satellite of Betelgeuse I due to it's matching Polar
  Orbit. Detailed Survey to be performed by future expedition. Patchy atmosphere
  observed with 4 evenly spaced icy rock rings, origin of rings undetermined at
  this time.
      Betelgeuse V : 234MK Class A Gas Giant, Color-Blue, primary element-Nitrogen.
  2 Orbiting Moons observed as follows/
          Betelgeuse V Alpha : 20060K Class J Moon, uneven surface with 1 ring of icy rock
          Betelgeuse V Beta : 50000K Class J Moon, even surface with no special
                             characteristic of notable importance to preliminary
                             survey team.

        * For file name restristions in KA it was necessary
               to shorten the loading name to Betelgse
  * System simulation loading instructions:
  Place all textures in KA texture folder
  Place S09e file in KA ship folder
  Place Sector 20 file in KA/Clusters/objects folder
  Place Betelgse.kas file in KA systems folder
    Enter following line in QBsys.txt file in KA Scripts folder
   Betelgse = Betelgse = -38583 32589 7927090 -43743 31452 8012339
